The Rock made an earth-shattering return to WWE on RAW's debut episode on Netflix last week. He teased a slight babyface turn to open the show, handed over the Ula Fala to Roman Reigns later on, and went back. The next night he showed up at WWE NXT: New Year's Evil and once again flipped back to his heel character.
The Final Boss has so far kept his fans on the edge, and hasn't revealed his next move in WWE. This has left fans wondering if The Great One will appear on RAW tonight. The answer, unfortunately, is "No."
There are very slim chances of The Great One showing up once again on RAW. So far, there have been reports that The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 is probably not happening.
Further, The Rock hugged Cody Rhodes on RAW last week and even praised him for carrying the company on his shoulders for one year. This further dampened the chances of him squaring off against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.
Further, The Final Boss also did not tease any rivalry with his cousin Roman Reigns. It was speculated that The Rock would turn against Reigns on RAW, give him a Rock Bottom, and then begin his storyline for WrestleMania 41. However, none of this happened. The Final Boss neither spoke against Solo Sikoa nor did he say anything against Roman Reigns.
The Rock might return at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 and eliminate Roman Reigns
Fans are still hopeful that The Rock will make his appearance at WrestleMania 41 in any capacity. One way he could do so is by returning at Royal Rumble 2025 at number 30, eliminating Roman Reigns, and then beginning a feud with him.
Since The Rock is also one of the members of the board of directors of the TKO group, he might later say that he used his authority to enter the Rumble match at number 30.
Roman Reigns is unlikely to win the Royal Rumble this year, as John Cena has also entered himself into the 30-man match. It is expected that Cena might win the match and challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
Therefore, there are chances of Roman Reigns locking horns with The Rock this year. If The Final Boss doesn't even return at Royal Rumble, then he will most likely have no presence at WrestleMania 41. It remains to be seen what The People's Champ has in store for the fans.
