Will The Rock return to WWE for the Bloodline WarGames Match at Survivor Series? Likely truth revealed following SmackDown

On this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, the OG Bloodline members Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn reunited. This faction will now face the Solo Sikoa-led stable in the Stamford-based promotion's upcoming premium live event, Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30.

However, heading into the PLE, the question is, will The Rock return for the WarGames Match between the two versions of The Bloodline? Based on a recent report, it appears that The Final Boss could indeed be a part of the Civil War at Survivor Series. However, as per Dr. Chris Featherstone, The Brahma Bull will not be a part of Solo's team.

After SmackDown ended, a user on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) asked Dr. Featherstone if there was any chance The Rock would work in the WarGames Match at Survivor Series. Featherstone quote-tweeted this post and wrote:

"Last info I heard is that he is not going to be on Team Solo. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update."

Based on this update, it appears that the wrestler-turned-Hollywood star could make a blockbuster appearance at Survivor Series, but seemingly not as a part of the Solo-led team. The last time The Rock appeared on WWE programming was at Bad Blood 2024, where it seemed like he sent a message to Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Cody Rhodes.

Wrestling journalist says The Bloodline match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames needs The Rock and another massive star

The upcoming WWE Survivor Series from Vancouver, Canada, is expected to be a massive PLE for the Stamford-based promotion. While the card will have many decent matches in which top stars will compete, the biggest attraction will most likely be The Bloodline Civil War in a WarGames Match.

Recently, veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter spoke about the idea of The Rock and Cody Rhodes being a part of this match. During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Apter mentioned someone was missing on Solo Sikoa's side. He further noted that Cody Rhodes could join the Roman Reigns-led team while Rock could be part of the Sikoa-led side.

"You know what we’re missing on Solo’s side? It doesn’t matter what we’re missing [The Rock]. Can you imagine? Maybe Cody Rhodes. Cody and The Rock in there?" he said. [From 24:45 onwards]
