Keeping the title on Triple H makes a lot more sense and opens the door for feuds with Randy Orton and John Cena before Seth Rollins marches back into the company and demands to reclaim the title he never lost.
Fans would much rather cheer for a heel champion right now than support a babyface they do not want walking around with the title. And since there is no chance to Reigns turning the corner in Dallas, there is no reason for him to hold the title for the third time in four months.
