Despite all the lows and burials in his career, Slater has always somehow managed to maintain his popularity with the WWE Universe. Being the only WWE Superstar not to get drafted last July spelt an ominous prospect for his career. But instead, he took the bull by its horns and became the most over member of the SmackDown roster.

The whole Rhyno-Slater storyline was nice while it lasted but it's time to move on. You should never ever let things get stale in the WWE or you'll find yourself being wasted. We need a tag team split now and then we need Slater to join the illustrious list of names to have won the Battle Royal on the grandest stage of them all.
