Luke Harper and Eric Rowan re-debuted on The SmackDown Live roster back in October and it seems that they have been building towards a shot at the Tag Team Championships ever since.
The duo, who were once aligned together as part of The Wyatt Family have picked up where they left off since being unveiled as The Bludgeon Brothers and are the most likely competitors to walk out as Champions on Sunday night.
The New Day and The Usos already have quite a storied rivalry, after spending the best part of the past two years battling it out on both Raw and SmackDown for the right to call themselves the best team in WWE.
These three teams collide for the first time at WrestleMania this weekend and it seems that this match has a number of potential outcomes since there are many combustible elements.
#5. The Usos retain their Tag Team Championships
The Usos have proven that they are one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling today a number of times over the last few years and have also stolen the show throughout their feud with The New Day to raise the profile of the Tag Team Division.
The Bludgeon Brothers have been the ones with all of the momentum heading into this match after attacking the two teams at Fastlane and staking their claim for a title match.
The fact that there are three teams in this match means that Harper and Rowan don't have to be pinned, so their unpinned streak can continue if The Usos are able to pin The New Day and retain.
#4. The New Day become SmackDown Tag Team Champions
The New Day have dominated the Tag Team Division over the past few years, but they seem to have become an afterthought in recent months, so this is their chance to prove that they still have what it takes to be at the head of the Tag Team summit.
The New Day can easily benefit from the triple threat rules since the no-disqualification stipulation means that the third member of the group is allowed to help out his teammates and it's still within the rules.
The New Day have become experts when it comes to using the numbers game to their advantage and on Sunday night it could be the reason why they become the NEW SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
#3. Lighting strikes twice in the same place
It was at WrestleMania 33 that The Hardy Boyz made their return to WWE as part of the triple threat Raw Tag Team Championship ladder match, which was turned into a fatal four-way after their inclusion and they then walked out as Champions.
There are a number of teams currently waiting in the wings for the chance to join the main roster one of those includes War Machine, a tag team that arguably would fit in better on SmackDown Live than Monday Night Raw.
It would be interesting swerve for another team to be added to the match at the last minute, never underestimate WWE's ability to shock their fans, even in an age where it seems that the WWE Universe are more informed than ever before.
A fatal four-way then opens up a number of other options for a finish.
#2. The Bludgeon Brothers become SmackDown Tag Team Champions
The Bludgeon Brothers have cut through every tag team in the SmackDown Tag Team Division like a knife through butter ever since their re-debut last year.
The most predictable outcome of this match would be for the duo to continue their streak and become Champions for the first time.
Harper and Rowan proved at Fastlane that they are capable of brushing aside both of these teams and in a match where their mallets are legally able to be used, it's hard to see either team being able to respond.
It's likely that The New Day and The Usos will team up and try to take out The Bludgeon Brothers before they then battle it out like they have so many times before, but it's unlikely that this will work.
Harper and Rowan should easily be able to brush aside the two teams once again to become Champions.
#1. The Authors of Pain make their main roster debut
The Authors of Pain are part of a triple threat match to crown the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Classic and the new NXT Tag Team Champions on Saturday night.
But if the duo are unable to capture the titles for the second time, then it is likely that they could be heading up to the main roster.
The Bludgeon Brothers are the perfect candidates for The Authors of Pain to be able to make their main roster debut against and with Paul Ellering at the helm, it seems that the duo could be the test that Harper and Rowan have been looking for.
Interference from the heavyweight team would lead to a no-contest so that The New Day and The Usos can continue to fight over the titles and Harper and Rowan could then feud with The Authors of Pain and give the Division the depth it has been lacking.
