WWE WrestleMania 34 Predictions: Analysing the complete match card

The Main Event.
The Main Event.

WrestleMania.

It is the time of the year when the speculative power of the WWE Universe is in the top gear. Every wrestling fan of the face of the planet tries to figure out the results of the matches beforehand.

WrestleMania is now less than a month away. Here are the complete result predictions for the “Show of Shows”.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#1 Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey defeat Triple H and Stephanie

Let the Authority go down.
Let the Authority go down.

This is going to be the debut match for Ronda Rousey. It will not be “best for business” if a Superstar of her calibre loses in her inaugural match.

WWE has meticulously made this a tag match which serves them well on many levels. It helps them have both WWE Women’s Championship matches within the active roster. Had Ronda won the Championship, who knows how many days she will appear on the Monday nights (I hope Lesnar would read this and I know Roman would like this).

With three other veterans present in the ring, it mitigates the chances for a debutante to screw-up things in the heat of the moment at the “Grandest stage of them all”.

The moment WWE Universe will be waiting for is when Kurt Angle locks the “Ankle Lock” on Triple H and Ronda locks the “Armbar” on Stephanie simultaneously resulting in a double tap out.

#2 Bobby Roode regains the US Championship

The Gen-Next!
The Gen-Next!

Randy Orton has won the only title which has eluded him for so long in his illustrious career, the US Championship. Congratulations to the “Viper” for getting inducted into the prestigious club of the Grandslam Champions.

However, it is time for him (as well) to pass the torch to the next generation. Bobby Roode has proved on numerous occasions his mettle is in the ring. Winning title at WrestleMania shall catalyst his career further.

We do expect Jinder Mahal to be added to this match. Despite that, the result must be the same. However, Roode can pin Mahal to pick up the victory and can continue his feud with Orton.

#3 Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal

One of these two must win.
One of these two must win.

This is in line with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The women’s locker room is at its best in both Red and Blue Brands. There are a number of Superstars who would love to make a name for themselves by winning this historic match.

However, Sasha “the boss” Banks and Bayley will be the front-runners to win this feat.

Sasha proved her mettle at the Royal Rumble when she lasted for 54 minutes. Bayley is one of the most beloved women wrestlers of all time and fans would love to see her rejuvenate.

#4 The Miz retains the Intercontinental Championship

I came to play.
I came to play.

This is a triple threat match with two faces and one heel. Fans are speculating more on who will be the new Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins or Finn Balor. Fans are divided between these two faces. Hence, it shall be quite a storyline to have the Miz retain the championship.

Miz has defied the odds when he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 27. Make no mistake, the Miz along with Miztourage knows how and when to seize an opportunity.

This can further result in a series of one-on-one matches between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor as the Miz continues on his (Miz)tour(age) of success.

#5 Asuka beats the Queen

A match to root for.
A match to root for.

Asuka has been on one hell of a run with her undefeated streak. She won the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble. Further, she moved to the Blue brand to face the Champion of her choosing and set the ideal match between her undefeated streak and the Queen, Charlotte Flair.

With everything Asuka has done in WWE, she deserves to be the SmackDown’s Women’s Champion. With the two of the very best in the business facing each other, fans are sure to be treated to an awesome match.

Indeed, to be the women, Asuka has to beat the women.

#6 Shane McMahon (and Dolph Ziggler) beats Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

There is no way that he is not going to be in the ring.
There is no way that he is not going to be in the ring.

Shane McMahon was carried out on a stretcher as seen on the last Tuesday night, thanks to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It won’t be a surprise if the match he made is converted into a tag-team match in the weeks to come.

If you look at the WrestleMania card for this year, the only worthy Superstar missing on it is Dolph Ziggler. Fans would love to see him compete side-by-side with the “Daredevil” Shane McMahon.

The emotions will certainly be high in this match, and also there can’t be a WrestleMania without a “YES” movement. Hence, we expect our beloved Daniel Bryan to be the special guest referee for this match.

#7 WWE Cruiserweight Championship

The breeding show.
205 Live has been getting raving reviews of late

The WWE Cruiserweight Champion has not been crowned for months now. And to make things worse, it has been due to all the reasons WWE would want to avoid.

The company will be looking to end the jinx for good at their luckiest night of the year by crowing a new, and well deserving Champion.

My money is on Cedric Alexander to win the prestigious championship by defeating Drew Gulak. It will be a classic match to have the high-paced Cedric against the rather orthodox-styled Drew Gulak.

#8 Nia Jax defeats Alexa Bliss

Better foes than friends.
Better foes than friends.

The so-called “friendship” between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax over as seen in the last episode on Monday Night Raw. It is almost certain that they will be facing each other for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Alexa doesn’t seem to stand a one-on-one chance against the “Irresistible force” on her own. Hence, adding Mickie James to the corner of Alexa Bliss shall make things interesting.

Be sure that the former six-time Champion will be much more than a mere ringside support for the current Champion.

#9 The Monstrous Night

The shout of thunder.
The shout of thunder.

There are a lot of speculations on who might be the tag-team partner of Braun Strowman when he faces the Bar at WrestleMania for the Raw tag team title. Truth be told, the whole point of the story is centred around him taking on the tag team Champions “alone”.

This not only cements that there is on one man who can take on the “Monster Among Men”, but also makes up for the fact that WWE failed to give Strowman a much-deserving one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

Looking at the positive side, it opens up possibilities for several interesting storylines and would still preserve the momentum that Strowman has built in the last one year.

#10 AJ Styles defeats Shinsuke Nakamura

This will be much-deserved win.
This will be a much-deserved win.

AJ Styles has been on a dream run since his debut on WWE. This “Phenomenal” performer never seems to miss a beat. On the other hand, Shinsuke Nakamura eliminated both Roman Reigns and John Cena on his own to win this year’s Royal Rumble match.

This should be one classic match as the Royal Rumble winner has to stand toe-to-toe against the man who is “running the show” on the show he himself built, AJ Styles. This is indeed one of the dream matches for WWE Universe.

We would love to see what happens when the Pele kick is greeted by the Kinshasa.

#11 Roman Reigns (finally) beats the Beast

The dog will slay the beast.
The Big Dog will slay the beast.

It will be the third anniversary since the last time Roman Reigns squared-off against the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. Truth be told, that was one hell of a match. Lesnar brought everything he could against the “Big Dog” but still wasn’t able to put the “dog to sleep”.

Unlike the last time, this time there will be a winner, one man who would be able to claim that he is better than the other. And the man would be Roman Reigns.

Both these men have defeated the Undertaker at WrestleMania and the “Franchise Player”John Cena in a matter of months. This will be the ultimate showdown to determine the better man, and physicality is guaranteed for sure in this brutal match.

#12 The Undertaker buries John Cena

One Last Victory.
One Last Victory.

Speaking the truth, the Undertaker needs this match much more than John Cena. He has been defeated twice in his last four matches at WrestleMania. This match will be the ultimate way to redeem the legacy of the Undertaker at the WrestleMania.

The Undertaker has nothing more left to lose in this match and the “Deadman” will rise again to “dig one more hole and take one more soul”. Quite frankly, WWE won’t gain even a nickel if John Cena goes over in this match.

It will indeed be a match for the ages and the ultimate tribute to the Undertaker’s legendary career.
