This time last year the Usos weren't on the main show, The New Day didn't wrestle and The Bludgeon Brothers didn't exist. Now here we are a year later with a great looking Triple Threat Tag Team Title match between these three teams on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All'
This all started at WWE Fastlane when Harper and Rowan, otherwise known as the Bludgeon Brothers' absolutely dismantled both The New Day and the Usos during their title match on the SmackDown PPV.
This led to the surviving members of New Day and The Usos having to join forces to take on The Bludgeon Brothers, but the end result wasn't much better against the brutal and dominating tag team.
The match started quickly with Kingston trying to pick up a quick win with Trouble in Paradise but The Bludgeon Brothers quickly gained control, even attacking Xavier Woods who wasn't technically competing in the match.
It pretty much stayed the same throughout the match with the odd rallying move from The Usos and The New Day with plenty of Super-Kicks and Splashes, including this splash from The Usos
But unfortunately, all of these fightbacks from The Usos and The New Day weren't enough to keep the Bludgeon Brothers at bay for long and eventually Harper and Rowan destroyed Kofi Kingston to pick up the victory.
As much as I like the decision I can't help but feel back for The Usos who have been so consistently great for ages, getting on their first 'Mania card ever and effectively dropping the titles in a squash match.
That being said, The Bludgeon Brothers are now SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions and look completely unbeatable. So who is going to step up and take the titles off of them? Perhaps a certain dominant Tag Team from NXT that are long due a call-up?
