The last time WrestleMania was hosted at MetLife Stadium, Kofi Kingston was not even on the Mania card. He was one of the guests featured on the pre-show panel.

Kofi Kingston's underdog story on SmackDown is possibly the greatest WWE storyline heading into WrestleMania. Vince McMahon has been screwing Kofi Kingston ever since he gave the performance of a lifetime in the gauntlet match last month and the Elimination Chamber match.
Kofi's rise from the pre-show panel at WrestleMania 29, to the main event of WrestleMania 35 is nothing but inspiring. With the storyline heavily centered around Kofi being screwed over and over by Mr. McMahon, we could actually see him become the WWE Champion on April 7th.
