With an excellent storyline, the fans were heavily invested in this bout, Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan did not disappoint the WWE Universe. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was one of the best matches of the show. The cherry on the cake was when Kofi Kingston managed to overcome the last obstacle in his turbulent journey as he captured the most coveted prize of the blue brand.

Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston, both are dexterous in the squared circle, and the match was anticipated to be awe-inspiring. Considering Bryan is called a submission specialist, he tried submission moves several times but the New Day member managed to survive. Moreover, Kofi also took a Running Knee from Bryan, but the latter was in absolute disbelief when Kofi kicked out. Kofi subsequently connected the Trouble in Paradise to seal the victory
