It would've been huge for Finn Balor if he had been booked to defeat Brock Lesnar using the Demon King at the Royal Rumble itself. At WrestleMania, the Beast Incarnate vs the returning Roman Reigns would've been a good option.

In such a scenario, Men's Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins would go on to face the Demon King at WrestleMania. Both these superstars were involved in the inaugural universal championship clash at SummerSlam 2016.

The match was such a classic that it was the show-stealer of the night. Unfortunately, the very next night, Finn Balor had to vacate the universal title due to an injury he sustained in that match. WWE had been hesitant about giving too much spotlight to Balor since then.

However, after returning from injury, Balor had been consistent. He is the best technical wrestler on the show along with Seth Rollins. Both these athletes providing a technical showcase for the universal title at WrestleMania would've been so exciting to watch.
