AJ Styles v/s Randy Orton is bound to happen in future

This is the only match in this list which took place inside a WWE ring before. Both these men have collided back during the WrestleMania 33 season.

Randy Orton, who was a face then, defeated Styles. This match served as a catalyst to both the Orton/Wyatt as well as the Styles/McMahon rivalry.

Although the match was excellent, it left the fans asking for more. Styles was a heel then, while Orton a baby face.

With Styles having assumed the role of a top-notch baby face and Orton sort of reverting back to his ‘Legend Killer’ gimmick, a feud between the two could make the blue brand exciting again.

Orton can attack Styles at the Crown Jewel PPV, revealing ‘The Phenomenal One’ to be his new victim.

‘The Apex Predator’ would then victimize Styles at the TLC PPV, winning his WWE Title and injuring him.

A surprise return at the Royal Rumble, followed by a Rumble victory by The Phenomenal One will make this feud more intriguing.

Styles winning his third WWE Title at the Grandest Stage of them all would be a nice way to conclude this rivalry, with Orton then making the move to Raw. We can even have Orton retaining against Styles followed by a move to the red brand by ‘The Phenomenal One’.

Title or non-title, this rivalry has the potential to be the rivalry of the year and certainly deserves a stage like WrestleMania.
