#2 Return of Roman Reigns
The return of Roman Reigns after the hiatus due to leukemia is probably the most feel-good factor in WWE in recent times. Back in October, the Big Dog had to relinquish the WWE Universal championship because of leukemia resurfacing again. Reigns returned to Monday Night Raw last month and announced that he is in remission.

Roman Reigns faced-off against Drew Mcintyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley alongside Shield brothers Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at Fastlane. It is no secret that Vince Mcmohan sees Reigns as the poster boy of WWE; the next John Cena. While Roman was out, WWE had to put the Universal back on Brock Lesnar. No other challenger has managed to dethrone the Beast. Now, with Reigns back in the company, it is only a matter of when not if WWE decides to push Roman as the top superstar again.
One hindrance to Reigns' big push would be in the form of Seth Rollins. If a face Reigns beats a face Rollins for the Universal champion down the line, the crowd would mostly reject Roman Reigns. So, to avoid such an occurrence WWE would most likely avoid putting the Universal title on Seth Rollins' shoulders.
