#3 Vince McMahon tricks Kofi Kingston

Vince has made it pretty apparent, at least in kayfabe terms, that he does not want Kofi anywhere near the WWE championship.

He replaced Kofi Kingston with Kevin Owens at Fastlane. Then at the pay-per-view, Vince tricked Kofi into a two-on-one handicap match against Sheamus and Cesaro after promising of a title match. Kofi was also forced to face top Smackdown Live superstars in a gauntlet match. The deck has always been stacked against the New Day member.

Now, this is a scenario that may take place if Kofi happens to win the match. Vince McMahon can play his final hand, by making him defend the WWE championship immediately after the match against Daniel Bryan.

Owens was WWE's first choice as the challenger for Bryan before Kofimania took over. So, Vince introducing The Prizefighter as one last opponent Kofi must face could be on the cards. That would also effectively turn Owens heel.
