After making his debut at the end of 2007, Kofi Kingston has been a proper entertainer at the WWE. He was always the funny guy who made people laugh – and he still is – but the beast side of him was unleashed during a feud against Randy Orton in 2009.
However, nothing much came of it and there are numerous stories as to why he never got the push that he deserved at the time. We won’t go there today as that is a topic for another day.
After that, he was in the midcard – winning every title save the two big ones – for years when in 2014, he formed the New Day with Xavier Woods and Big E. This was a group meant to make the fans laugh – and they did just that as New Day became one of the best things about WWE.
And finally, after years of hard work, Kingston finally got the biggest gold at WrestleMania.
