Since arriving on RAW after a Superstar Shake-up, Corbin hasn't done anything noteworthy. He was given the role of a heel authority figure that has been done to the dust over the past. Also, Corbin failed to win the most significant matches of his recent feuds on WWE RAW.

He is a superstar with maximum heel heat but that doesn't add a significance to the WrestleMania match. A heel like Corbin can face Kurt even on a normal episode of RAW. As it seems like Angle would be facing some superstars on his road to WrestleMania, it would've been good to have these two face off.

A frustrated Corbin assaulting Angle after losing to him would have made Angle a sympathetic figure on the road to WrestleMania. It would've given some momentum to Corbin without the two having a battle at the show of shows.

Sure Kurt Angle has the potential to give a push to Corbin if they face at WrestleMania, but there are fewer chances that WWE would really do something significant with Corbin after that. He might likely continue his same role.
