Kurt Angle is one of the most accomplished stars heading into WrestleMania 35

Kurt Angle is no ordinary superstar. He is a legend. Among his countless championships and accomplishments is his inclusion in the WWE Hall of Fame and International Sports Hall of Fame (2016). A former WWE World Champion, Olympic gold medalist and Hall of Famer like Kurt Angle at least needs a multiple times World Champion.

Most of the accomplished WWE Superstars had their final matches against legendary individuals. For instance, Ric Flair's retirement match came against Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold had his last match against The Rock, and The Undertaker retired Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. WWE should have given a similar honor to Kurt on the end of his journey.

Instead, Kurt Angle must now face the young Corbin. The only person who can benefit from this is Corbin, but as discussed there are only slim chances of WWE treating him like a significant star in the future.
