After 11 years of being a mid-carder, Kofi Kingston finally got his shot at the WWE Championship and to be fair, it was one of the most emotional matches in the history of all WrestleManias.

The match itself was absolutely brilliant and both Daniel Bryan and Kofi gave their all in pursuit of the gold.

Everyone in the WWE Universe knew how much this match meant for Kofi and they were backing him every step of the way. The New Day star overcame all the odds to beat Bryan and become the 51st heir to the WWE Championship.

KofiMania was one of the hottest movements before WrestleMania and WWE ensured that they banked on the popularity of New Day and Kofi Kingston. This was a much deserved moment for Kofi and one he would have waited for years.

WWE seems to have kept their promise to the WWE Universe, but for how long will this go on, it remains to be seen.
