The New Day could turn heel on April 7.

Thanks to an enthralling and courageous performance of Big E and Xavier Woods in the tag team gauntlet match two weeks ago on SmackDown Live, Kofi Kingston earned himself a shot at the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35.

However, there have been reports suggesting that the high flyer might not walk out as the new champion on April 7. On top of that, it has also been rumoured that WWE might be planning a New Day breakup at the Show of Shows.

Thus, New Day turning on Kofi Kingston to cost him the WWE Championship match could very well be on cards at 'Mania.

Though it might not be a wise idea given Kofi is loved like crazy among WWE fans, it would certainly lay down the building blocks for a potential feud between the members of New Day.
