#3 The Usos vs. The Hardy Boyz
WWE appeared to be focusing more and more on the SmackDown Live tag division earlier in 2019. However, since Shane McMahon betrayed The Miz at Fastlane to kick-start their WrestleMania 35 rivalry, new champions The Usos have been largely forgotten about.
Jimmy & Jey have still featured sporadically on SmackDown Live, notably on this week’s episode when they refused to face long-term rivals The New Day in the gauntlet match, but their backstage promos have not yet led to them receiving any opponents for WrestleMania 35.
Given that the duo has defeated almost every tag team there is to defeat in WWE, the only realistic opponents that they could face in a two-on-two match at MetLife Stadium is The Hardy Boyz – a tag team they have never competed against.
Matt & Jeff, who are undefeated since reuniting, have both mentioned how they would like to face The Usos, so perhaps we could see a #1 contender match take place on next week’s SmackDown Live to set up the match in time for ‘Mania.
