Unpopular opinion: SNL’s Colin Jost and Michael Che have proven themselves to be magnificent heels during their segments with Braun Strowman on Monday Night Raw.

If they were taking spots from deserving Superstars in a featured match on the show (e.g. a time-consuming tag match), then it would be unwise for WWE to involve Jost and Che at WrestleMania. But they are merely making up the numbers in a kickoff show Battle Royal which fans will quickly forget about, so what’s the harm?

As for their possible interactions during the match, it goes without saying that both men are going to encounter the monstrous Braun Strowman at some point. Judging from their back-and-forth comedy argument on Raw last week, it would also not be a total surprise if they decided to try to throw each other out of the match.

Jost essentially forced Che to compete in the Battle Royal, after all, so perhaps Jost – the more villainous of the two – could eliminate Che before he “Gets These Hands” from Strowman.
