Now going as Ali (sigh), the former Heart and Soul of 205 Live was challenging for the WWE Championship less than a month ago, and now he's been relegated to a pre-show battle royal for WrestleMania.

Last year, Ali was tearing the house down with Cedric Alexander on the pre-show, and while Alexander doesn't even appear in this match, it's clear WWE has bigger plans for Ali, so this is quite disappointing.

Given the run he's been on, the WWE should have found something more substantial for Ali (perhaps a United States Championship match). As mentioned, there will likely be at least one surprise entrant, so that could give the match some excitement, but at this point, Ali could be the only reason some tune in, so the WWE would be wise to have him win the annual battle royal.
