#3 The first African-American WWE Champion in a while

The Rock as WWE Champion
Race is a touchy subject. It's not something that people should dismiss nor should it be taken as the only aggregate in any job, much less as WWE Champion. While most people will bring up names like Booker T and Mark Henry, they only won the World Heavyweight Championship. Any WWE fan will probably rank the WWE title as higher than the aforementioned one.
With the political culture of America being what it is, it has become a necessary and bolder statement that WWE can make. Also to be clear, Kofi Kingston has more than just earned it with 9 years of high-risk maneuvers, entertaining millions worldwide and just creating an everlasting impact over the WWE Universe. Let's hope it happens at WrestleMania 35.

My love of professional wrestling has been a journey. When I look back at my life, I realize that it's always been there in the background. While there were years where I stopped following it, I don't think I ever stopped loving it.
I have always been writing, and I have honed my skillset over the years, writing for various newspapers, publications, and other entertainment websites. Wrestling is just a happy accident and coincided with my falling back in love with the genre, with the rise of AEW.
Wrestling is physical storytelling and stories; they make us fly! I recount those stories through analytical features and news that come out of it.
