Time For NXT To Take Centre Stage

Now while this has happened before in the case of Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 32 and that didn't really mean anything in the long term let's all remember that was Baron Corbin who if we are all honest is not as good as the recent NXT call-ups such as Johnny Gargano and Aleister Black.

Now to be clear I don't mean any random NXT star who isn't ready for the main roster, for example, someone like Lacey Evans or Baron Corbin but someone who is ready and my choices would be Kairi Sane and Ricochet. Ricochet has been on Raw and SmackDown the past few weeks and would definitely be a crowd favorite over Mania weekend and get a pop for a big win even if it might be on the pre-show.

In the case of Kairi while she hasn't been on the main roster but she is impossible not to love and after a while, she would for sure be over with the crowd if given the chance to shine.

Kofi Kingston has for the last few years been that person on the roster that everyone would agree should be given the WWE Title but everyone knows it is a very unlikely possibility especially with him now being 37 and not getting any younger. But over the last month due to Mustafa Ali's injury, he has been given an opportunity to shine and shine he has indeed.

With the crowd extremely behind him, it seems the perfect time to give Kofi the belt that has eluded him his entire career. This would be the ultimate feel-good moment and because it won't be the main event and most likely will be on the first half of the show the crowd reaction could be incredible!
