Conor McGregor and WWE's relationship seems like a love-hate relationship - WWE loves him, but McGregor hates them. That's what we may have at least learned from McGregor's past comments about the WWE.

But WWE seem to be still very keen on signing the former MMA star, who recently announced his retirement from the sport.

Stephanie McMahon spoke about McGregor and another ex-sports star who has been linked with a switch to the WWE, Rob Gronkowski.

“I’d love to have Gronk in the ring. I’d love to have Conor McGregor – huge personality. There’s a number of different women I’ve had my eyes on as well. So it’s really about bringing in the biggest personalities with the best athletic ability – whoever can entertain and connect to our audience," said Stephanie in an interview with TMZ.

McGregor appearing at WrestleMania 35 would be a huge surprise but it is quite uncertain at the moment.

The odds seem to not indicate much as they are currently even odds for him to appear at WrestleMania 35. But considering an Irish Superstar could win the final match of the night, we could maybe see McGregor come out to congratulate Lynch.
