He lasted for about an hour in a gauntlet match, put up a spirited effort against Daniel Bryan as one of the final two superstars in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, and pinned Daniel Bryan in a six-man tag team match.

He was wrongfully robbed of his WWE Title match at Fastlane by Vince McMahon. Mr. McMahon told him that he would be giving him a WWE Championship opportunity and then changed the match into a 2 on 1 handicap match involving The Bar. He is now making Kofi Kingston defeat the Bar, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton, and Rowan in a gauntlet match on SmackDown Live to earn a shot at WrestleMania. He will definitely win that match and move on to WrestleMania.
