The Creative team pulled off a masterstroke with this move because Flair had spent a lot of time in the title picture on both RAW and SmackDown.

Besides, she has had many matches with Becky Lynch and Bayley. Thus, to freshen things up, The Queen decided to move to the Black and Gold brand where she challenged Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship, thereby guaranteeing the champ a place on the main card of WrestleMania 36.
