Sheamus would want to win the title one way or other
As discussed before, Sheamus is heading into WrestleMania with a lot of momentum on his side. He has a title shot after a long time, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him bend the rules to get his hands on the gold. After all, winning the United States Championship could be monumental for his singles run on RAW.

Although Sheamus was involved in an engaging feud with Drew McIntyre, the latter might be busy in a rivalry with Bobby Lashley for a while. While Lashley occupies The Scottish Warrior, Sheamus can enjoy a brief yet impressive run with the United States Championship. This would ultimately help add more credibility to his character and establish him as one of the most dominant superstars after WrestleMania.
Sheamus has been brilliant as a heel and looks more genuine than most popular babyfaces on RAW. It would be in character for him to cleverly hit a low blow or use a steel chair to take out Riddle during their match at WrestleMania. Once Sheamus gets his hands on the United States Championship, he will use the opportunity to prove why he deserves to be involved in the biggest WWE title feud.
