WrestleMania 37: 5 things WWE could be planning for the two-night event

WrestleMania 37 will be a two-night event.

#1 The NXT Championship being defended at WrestleMania 37

Since WrestleMania will be on Saturday and Sunday, NXT Takeover might not happen. With its weekly show, SmackDown, RAW, and possibly the WWE Hall of Fame, there may not be a free night for Takeover during 'Mania week. That being said, there could be a spot for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania.

The NXT Women's Championship was defended at WrestleMania 36, and with the way things are going, at least one NXT match could grace the Grandest Stage of Them All. After all the part-timers, mid-card showcases, and running two-night stories, there might still be a spot at WrestleMania for NXT.

One thing that helps this possibility is the fact that Finn Balor is the NXT Champion. He is the biggest star on the brand and has been a prominent part of the main roster as well. Balor's big NXT Title defense will be against Karrion Kross, who recently returned from an injury that forced him to vacate the belt.

A match between Balor and Kross is worthy of the stadium setting of WrestleMania, if only for the entrances alone. It would be quite the moment for NXT, as well as Kross. It is made possible thanks to the fact that WWE might end up booking up to 20 matches in total for WrestleMania.

Anyway, there is a lot that could happen during both nights at Raymond James Stadium. These ideas could help WrestleMania 37 stand out as a unique event, a grander and more stacked version of WrestleMania 36. These are exciting times!
