The Fiend sustained an underwhelming loss tonight
The Fiend faced Randy Orton in the opening match of WrestleMania 37’s second night. As usual, he had Alexa Bliss on his side, but that decision ended up costing him the match. The Fiend looked mesmerizing right from his grand entrance. As soon as the bell rang, he immediately started attacking Orton inside the squared circle.

Both superstars brawled for a while and took turns to control the match. However, Orton struggled to keep The Fiend down for long. The Viper tried to deliver an RKO, but The Fiend countered with Mandible Claw. He forced Orton to go down on one knee and looked close to winning the match before looking at Alexa Bliss, who was sitting on a prop during this WrestleMania match.
Seated at ringside, Bliss' face was covered in the black liquid. Randy Orton looked at a distracted Fiend and hit him with an RKO to seal his victory at WrestleMania. The Fiend had a great start to the match, but the finish to this bout made him look extremely weak inside the ring.
WWE dropped no hints about what just transpired because the lights went off in the arena. It is expected that they will reveal more to this storyline on RAW. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Bray Wyatt lost yet another crucial match at WrestleMania right when he started to gain momentum. We hope that the reason behind this booking would justify it in the end.
