Kevin Owens delivered a flawless match alongside Sami Zayn at WrestleMania
The WrestleMania match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn set high expectations the second it was booked. It would be fair to say that both WWE Superstars faced each other in one of the best matches across both nights of the pay-per-view. This match also brought back the brutal side of Zayn that we don’t often get to see on SmackDown. He wasn’t booked like a cowardly fighter tonight.

Owens and Zayn kickstarted their match at WrestleMania by going straight for powerful offenses. Zayn managed to take control early in the match. He drove Owens to the floor with a devastating brainbuster off the edge of the apron. KO’s selling was better than ever, and he made Zayn look like an untameable animal inside the ring.

At one point, Zayn dragged Owens to the second turnbuckle, but the latter countered with Fisherman’s Suplex. KO then tried to set up a Stunner, but Zayn escaped with a Helluva Kick. However, when Zayn tried to deliver his finisher once again, Owens countered with a Superkick. He quickly followed that with a Stunner and pinned Zayn to win his match at WrestleMania.

Following the match, Logan Paul took Zayn by surprise when he pushed him back. Zayn left the ring while Paul thought that he would celebrate with Kevin Owens. However, KO had other plans. He made Paul’s WrestleMania moment memorable by delivering a Stunner and gifting an epic GIF to the rest of the Internet. Logan Paul also deserves props for his sell.
The to and from between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in this match was thoroughly engaging. More than anything, this WrestleMania bout proved that Zayn deserves a better booking on SmackDown. KO and Zayn are close in real life, which helps their chemistry on screen. They should be allowed to engage in an extended feud, and they will guarantee entertainment.
