Of course, a show about wrestling is going to have some cameos by wrestlers.
While I personally haven't watched it yet, I was fully aware of the show and to expect many cameos or recurring roles from pro wrestlers.
Brooke Hogan, John Morrison, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Kharma, Alex Riley, Carlito and Brodus Clay all have had roles on the Netflix show GLOW.
The program is a remake of the '80s show Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, or GLOW for short. It's about women trying to make it in the glorious world of professional wrestling. WWE Legend Ivory was actually on the original version of the show.
Of the wrestlers who had stints on GLOW, Brodus Clay also appeared as a minion of hell on the AMC show Preacher. Chavo Guerrero was on a lucha libre inspired episode of the NBC supernatural show Grimm. He was the top wrestler in a promotion and an aspiring young wrestler was tired of jobbing to Guerrero.
The young wrestler bought a haunted mask off of a mask-maker. It gave him the power to beat his bully, but it was corrupting his soul.
