Wrestling veteran Bin Hamin urged WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair to never wrestle again.
After nearly 11 years of absence, the 16x World Champion returned to the ring in July 2022. The 74-year-old teamed up with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in a tag team match. Although he initially announced that it was his last match, The Nature Boy has recently expressed his desire to lace up his boots again. This time against 67-year-old WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton.
Speaking on The Friday Locker Room podcast, Bin Hamin talked about Flair's recent comments. The wrestling veteran pleaded with him never to compete again, warning him that he could die in the ring.
"Flair made 300k from his last match. Is that the real reason why he needs it? Is there no money for the future and needs to make another 300k that it was that easy or is it the sickness that I can't give up wrestling, or is it both? I don't know, man. Like, you don't wanna see the guys you looked at as heroes come out looking like a California Raisin, possibly dying in the ring in front of you. However, maybe in some twisted reality maybe that's what he thinks, like, 'I'm gonna die in here.' Like, 'This is where I wanted to go out. My soul leaves my body and we do the pull-away shot.' It's crazy, man," he said.
Bin Hamin added:
"Bro, you passed out two times in your last match. What happens if you pass out one time in this match and you don't wake up? Is that really what you wanna leave the fans with 'I watched Ric Flair die in the ring'? Like, there's a chance of that, man. And no match that you have with Ricky Morton is gonna be like, 'That was the one we wanna remember him by.' It's all some sideshow freak shows sh*t of pimping out your legacy for another hit of dopamine, man, and none of that is worth it. And I don't think anyone wants to see Ric Flair passing out in the ring. [Quoting Flair]: 'Is it crazy that I wanna wrestle right now?] Yeah, it is, dude." [From 01:21:08 to 01:23:25]

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair clarified his comments
Ric Flair recently addressed his comments about being interested in having another match. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed that his words were taken out of context.
The Nature Boy explained to PW Insider that although he feels he could wrestle again, he has no desire.
"No, that was completely taken out of context. No, I have no desire to wrestle again. I said I could, because I feel great. And if I did, I could be better because I would learn from the mistakes I made getting ready last time, which was not hydrating. I weighed 218 and I didn't drink any water that day, a combination of nerves and everything else," said Flair.
