Sportskeeda's very own Scottish Psychopath Gary Cassidy caught up with Lio Rush on SK's new show, Dropkick DiSKussions. The 23-year-old WWE Superstar opened up on a variety of topics such as his WWE run, his new single 'Scenic Lullaby', favourite career moments and what the future holds for him.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Rush is currently on a hiatus from wrestling and the focus has shifted to his rap career. The versatile Superstar released a new single titled 'Scenic Lullaby'. If you ask us, it's a pretty impressive effort from from Rush that paints a promising picture of his prospects of making it big as a musician.

"There wasn't really any musical inspiration, I feel like it was something... I feel like a lot of the time, I can be misunderstood because I'm usually a pretty quiet guy in person, I'm pretty laid back - which is completely different from what people see on television," said Rush on his new endeavour.

He continued, "I feel like I'm never as good with my words when I talk to people, and that's why I usually don't talk, but I just felt like putting things down on paper, putting down my thoughts and why I feel this way into music definitely helped me express myself in ways that...I'm not going to say I'm incapable of doing, but I find it very difficult doing in person, so that's why I did it through a song."

So what's next for Rush? When can we expect him back in the WWE? Check out what he had to say in the full interview below:
