As Braun Strowman turned face again after a short run as a heel, he was faced with the threat of he heels piling on against him. In an angle on Raw on one episode, Strowman was attacked by Acting General Manager Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.

As the three men tried to slay the Monster Among Men, they decided to target his elbow which had already been surgically repaired in the past.

As Strowman was held down, his extended arm was hit with a set of steel ring steps which was very hard to watch for many fans. Following the attack, we could see blood trickle down his arm while Strowman held his elbow in pain and exclaimed that he couldn’t feel his fingers.

It was an extremely concerning moment for fans as it seemed like he had suffered a bad injury following the angle, and even the commentators later announced that he had ‘shattered his elbow’.

Later it was revealed that the angle was used to right Strowman off television as he had to undergo elbow surgery for a legitimate injury which has gotten worse over the months. Nonetheless, the entire episode created a lot of talks and worry among fans until the actual news came out.

The September 3 episode of Raw witnessed some great action and moments. At the end of the night, the heels stood tall in front of the faces of the red brand.

The episode was especially not very pretty for The Shield, as they were arrested and taken to jail while the Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler picked on Finn Balor and handed him a grand beating.

As the three decided to deliver a triple powerbomb to The Demon on the steel steps, the siren hit and The Shield returned to the arena in the same van they were taken away in earlier in the night.

The Shield were soon outnumbered as the entire heel side of the roster got involved in beating up the three guys. Once the dust settled, it was seen that Seth Rollins of The Shield picked up a legitimate injury during the beating and was seen bleeding profusely from his left arm. This was a result of being thrown through the police van window that The Shield has commandeered in order to return to RAW.

While the extent of Rollins’ injury was unknown at the time, many fans were extremely shocked at Rollins’ state and continued to check for updates online even after the night ended.

Thankfully, Rollins was able to compete soon after as the injury wasn’t serious, but fans were extremely concerned about his health after the beatdown.

#3 Jeff Hardy

Hell in a Cell became a living hell for Jeff Hardy during a match with Randy Orton. Medics had to dash to Hardy’s side after his daredevil stunt went wrong at the showpiece event.

Hardy thought of using the cell as monkey bars during the end of the match and scaled a ladder to get more height for his jump on to Randy Orton, who was stricken on a table.

Things seemed to get worse for Hardy as while hanging from the cell he seemed uncomfortable and unsure of what he was doing. Orton moved out of the way as Hardy leapt to fall 20 feet to crash through the table.

Orton looked to pin Hardy, while the referee was legitimately concerned and was unsure of what to do. Orton went on to pin the high-flyer while the paramedics were on their way to provide assistance.

Commentators, fans in attendance and at home, and everyone in the business were extremely concerned about the future Hall of Famer as reports emerged that he was hospitalized and throwing up blood.

Thankfully, he recovered quickly and was back to competing in no time.

The Bella Twins returned to action in mid-2018 and competed in a few matches before Nikki took on Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Champion.

One of the matches they competed in took place on the September 24 edition of Raw as The Bella Twins teamed up with Natalya to take on The Riott Squad to build hype around their match on the Evolution PPV.

While Brie and Liv were the legal women in the match, Brie decided it was time to bring out the YES kicks to Liv Morgan, a signature move of her husband Daniel Bryan. After a couple of kicks, Brie increased the pace but took her eyes off Liv Morgan while delivering the kicks.

This proved lethal, as she ended up kicking Liv twice in the face instead of the chest as it seemed like Morgan was out of position to take the kicks. The second kick completely knocked Liv Morgan out, and Brie had to pull her to her partners’ side to make a tag after pinning her for an unsuccessful count of 3.

Fans were immediately concerned as they saw Liv was almost unconscious but later took a little part in the action once again. It was revealed that she was concussed as a result of the botch, and Brie received a lot of heat for the same.

#1 Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch turned from the purest babyface to the baddest heel on SmackDown in a matter of minutes. This has allowed her to grow more and more each day and become the top champion in the business today.

Survivor Series is known for its battle between the blue and the red brand, and therefore Lynch was booked to face Ronda Rousey in the clash of the Women’s Champions.

To make the event a success, WWE allowed Becky Lynch to invade Raw, where she put Ronda in her signature submission move dis-arm-her and then led the attack to the women of Raw with fellow women of SmackDown.

A brawl broke out during which Becky sustained an injury that left her with a broken and bloodied nose. At the time, no one was sure what had happened and all they could see was Becky’s blood covered face and arms which concerned many.

Becky braved through her injury and didn’t even flinch, completing the attack in emphatic fashion and standing tall at the end of it.
