Desmond Troy vs Joe Gacy on 205 Live
Neither of these men met the 205 Live weight limit, but they were both highly recruited members of WWE PC. In the 205 Live main event, Desmond Troy, a man who's been on NXT several times already, battled Joe Gacy for a chance at glory.
Desmond Troy nearly caught Joe Gacy with a schoolboy. Leaping over Gacy, Troy caught his opponent with a great flying crossbody. Gacy lit Desmond up with a right hand and a chop, but Troy shrugged it off with ease, bringing him to the mat with a double leg takedown.

In what would be his first, and probably only match on 205 Live, Troy was very impressive, as his amateur background served him quite well. Gacy finally got a real shot off, catching a rebounding Troy with an elbow to the jaw. A suplex took Troy down for a hammerlock. A back suplex planted Desmond for the two.
Troy responded with a series of belly-to-belly suplexes, firing up with a big splash in the corner. The Northern Lights planted Gacy for the two-count. A series of gutwrench slams almost got Troy the win. Gacy made it back to his feet where the two traded strikes.
Joe Gacy hit the uranage and a handspring lariat, laying Troy out in incredible fashion.
Results: Joe Gacy defeated Desmond Troy via pinfall on 205 Live.
