Mustafa Ali vs Ariya Daivari
Mustafa Ali came out to the ring wearing the same headgear he had during WrestleMania 34. Ariya Daivari cut a promo on Ali, claiming that he blew his chance at the title and should go to the back of the line. Daivari stated that it's his time to shine on 205 Live.
Daivari began the match by bull rushing Ali, forcing him into the corner with an array of punches and kicks. Ali used his speed to get the better of Daivari, catching him with a running hurricanrana. He went to the ropes, but Daivari cut him off before he could capitalize, injuring his back in the process. Daivari then focused the back with a handful of backbreakers.

Ali went for the rolling facebuster from the outside, but the Persian Lion countered it, throwing him into the turnbuckle before hitting him with a superkick, gaining a two-count. Daivari told Ali that he "blew it at WrestleMania," which seemed to fire up Ali.
He dropkicked Daivari to the outside, but when he tried to run after him, Daivari caught him with a rolling spinebuster on the floor, before rolling him back inside. Daivari hit the Persian Lion Splash, but again only garnered a two-count. Daivari went for the Hammerlock Lariat, but Ali countered, only to be caught by another lariat from Daivari.

Metalik and Itami rolled to the outside while Tozawa and Dorado traded strikes. Dorado caught Tozawa with a snap hurricanrana, but Tozawa kicked out, catching him with a spinning kick, then hitting him with the Senton Splash.
