Tony Nese works on bringing out his potential
Tony Nese came out next, looking to prove something to the WWE Universe and Drake Maverick, who, in a backstage segment, told Nese that he believes he has some untapped potential.
Nese quickly overpowered Pierce after he attempted to flex. Nese threw him into a corner, but Pierce caught him with a cheap shot to the jaw as the ref pulled Nese away.
Pierce attempted to catch Nese with a few strong strikes, but Nese countered his assault, hitting a handspring followed by a flurry of kicks.
Pierce attempted to leave, but Nese threw him back into the ring. The Premier Athlete hit a springboard moonsault starting from the ring apron. Pierce would work his way to the top of the turnbuckle afterwards, but Nese ran after him, kicking him in the jaw.
Nese threw his opponent in the corner after a fireman's carry/gutbuster combination and hit him with the Running Kneese for the win.
