Curt Stallion, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, and August Grey vs Legado Del Fantasma on 205 Live
Raul Mendoza and Ashante "Thee" Adonis kicked off the 205 Live main event. Adonis took it to Mendoza, and when the rest of Legado Del Fantasma tried to interfere, Adonis was able to lay them all out. A flapjack to Wilde and a dropkick to Santos Escobar sent them to the floor.
Curt Stallion tagged in, looking to keep that 205 Live streak going. However, too focused on Escobar, he was blindsided by a running knee from Mendoza when he went for a suicide dive. Escobar tagged in, and the NXT Cruiserweight Champion aimed to prove that Stallion didn't deserve to challenge him.
Stallion eventually made the tag to August Grey, and the Thatch-as-Thatch-Can student really took the fight to a fresh Mendoza. However, Escobar dropped the ropes as he went to bounce off, falling straight to the floor. Legado Del Fantasma tagged in and out, tearing apart Grey while the two fast-rising 205 Live stars Stallion and Adonis watched on.
Eventually, Grey managed to fight away from Joaquin Wilde and tagged in the No. 1 Contender to the Cruiserweight Championship. Stallion was like a house on fire, hammering Wilde and Mendoza with dives, dropkicks, and more all the while staring down Santos Escobar.
The double foot trapped DDT spiked Wilde, and a diving splash nearly got the win. Wilde broke it up, leading to a six-man brawl. Mendoza and Wilde set up for the Russian Leg Sweep/running enziguri combo, but Mendoza was yanked out the ring by Grey. Wilde was then rolled up by Stallion for the victory.
Results: Curt Stallion defeated Joaquin Wilde via pinfall on 205 Live.
