Lio Rush vs Local Competitor
The man of the Hour made his long-awaited return to 205 Live tonight. Rush has been busy working with his partner Bobby Lashley on Monday nights but returned tonight to show why he joined 205 Live in the first place.
Prior to the match, Rush said he usually likes to talk trash, but decided to get right to the action, then cut his opponent down with a cheap punch.
Rush avoided a clothesline, then dragged his opponent to the outside, connecting with an apron-assisted spinning bulldog. Rush hit the Final Hour but didn't go for the pin.
Rush beat down his opponent some more, then hit another Final Hour to put him away.
Results: Lio Rush won via pinfall.
After the match, Cedric Alexander cut a phone-promo. Alexander said that 205 Live is still his show and his division, and soon enough he'll be coming back for his title.
Next week, the cruiserweights take the night off as we get a recap of the highlights of the year with the Best of 205 Live.
