The Brian Kendrick came out with Akira Tozawa sporting a new look. Kendrick, with a new haircut and freshly shaven face, looked nearly a decade younger.

Kendrick and Tozawa took the fight to Gallagher and Gulak quickly but were cut off by the villains after they attempted to get a table. Gallagher and Gulak put the table back under the ring, telling the crowd they wouldn't be getting any tables.

Kendrick and Tozawa improvised, picking up the announce table guard instead and running it into their opponents. With Gallagher out for a moment, Kendrick and Tozawa brought Gulak inside the ring where they beat him down in a 2-on-1 assault. Kendrick brought Gulak down with a flatliner driven down by a kick from Tozawa.

Gallagher broke up the pinfall, but that only forced Kendrick and Tozawa to turn their sights on him, taking him down with some more unique offense. However, Gallagher and Gulak got back into the match when their opponents played to the crowd a little too much and beat them down with a trash can and a broom.

Inside the ring, Gulak set up Tozawa inside the trash can and said "I didn't forget" bringing their rivalry all the way back to 2017 when Tozawa took him on in a street fight.

Gulak pelted the canned Tozawa with the broom handle, then went outside to take on Kendrick while Gallagher handled Tozawa. A shot to Kendrick's throat with a mop left him stunned on the floor. Gulak played to the crowd, then pelted Kendrick with the mop. Kendrick eventually fought back, beating him down with an array of strikes.

Gulak quickly regained the upper hand, pelting Kendrick with fists covered in cords left around the ring area. Gulak dragged Kendrick away with a hook in his mouth, which was attached to the cord, then tried to hang him from the ropes. Tozawa fought off Gallagher and saved Kendrick, but a headbutt from Gallagher would flatten him.

Gulak and Gallagher dumped Tozawa over the barricade into the timekeeper's area, then focused their sights on Kendrick. Inside the ring, they went for multiple pinfalls, trying to wear down their former partner in crime. Gallagher dropped Kendrick on the top rope neck first, and Gulak connected with a running clothesline. Kendrick still kicked out.

Gallagher and Gulak set up the mop bucket, attempting to suplex Kendrick, but the 20-year vet countered into a double DDT. Outside the ring, Tozawa came too and forced Gulak into the timekeeper's area. A few shots from Gulak and the ring mic seemed to stun him, but Tozawa blocked the third shot with a chair, then knocked out Gulak with a right to the jaw.

Back inside the ring, Tozawa fired up and sent Gallagher outside after a brilliant striking combination. Gulak eventually got up and tried to go after Tozawa, but the former champion threw a chair into his face.

Tozawa and Kendrick tied Gulak to the outside of the ring post with the same cord Gulak tried to hang Kendrick with before. Tozawa and Kendrick then repeatedly chopped Gulak's chest, leaving him blood red. Thankfully for Gulak, Gallagher ran Tozawa down with the trash can.

Gallagher took out Kendrick as well, and the Submission Commision set their eyes on Tozawa. Gulak pushed Tozawa, who was placed in a rolling chair, into Gallagher's deadly running dropkick. Gulak brought Kendrick over and forced him to watch as Gallagher beat down Tozawa.

They attempted to finish Kendrick off with the same maneuver, but Kendrick sent Gulak into the chair, then sent Gallagher into Gulak with an exploder suplex. Back inside the ring, Kendrick went for the dragon suplex into a new trash can. Gallagher countered and locked Kendrick down with an Indian Deathlock.

Tozawa locked him into the black widow, but, Gulak came in and broke it up with the Gu-Lock. Kendrick slammed Gallagher on top of Gulak, breaking up the submission. Kendrick sat atop Gulak and beat his face in, but a running knee from Jack Gallagher took him out.

Gallagher forced him into the Indian Deathlock, and it looked like Kendrick was going to tap. However, Tozawa dropped down on him with the Senton Splash from the top rope. A near fall almost put him away, but Gulak broke it up.

Kendrick attempted the Sliced Bread No. 2 only for Gulak to block it. Tozawa connected with his kicking combination and sent him outside, but was met with a trash can when he went for the suicide dive.

Back inside, Gallagher tried to finish off Kendrick. Kendrick, who was left at the top of the turnbuckle, dropped Gallagher with a top rope Sliced Bread No. 2.

Results: The Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa defeated the Submission Commision via pinfall.

The Brian Kendrick fulfilled his promise tonight, shedding his old self and working with his new friend Akira Tozawa in order to rid them of Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher. With a hard-fought victory over one of the toughest teams on 205 Live, we could possibly see one of these two next in line for a shot at Buddy Murphy's Cruiserweight Championship.
