Kendrick offered the hand to Taylor, trying to show his opponent some respect. Taylor slapped his hand away and was immediately forced into the corner by Kendrick. After circling the ring, Taylor tried to extend his hand to Kendrick. It didn't work well.

A stiff elbow from Taylor, though seemingly rocked Kendrick. The veteran came back with a standing dropkick and a series of right hands. A running elbow into the corner followed by a running forearm dropped Taylor. The former Cruiserweight Champion continued to stun his opponent with a pair of kicks, followed up by the Sliced Bread No. 2 for the win.

Last week, Chad Gable debuted on 205 Live, defeating Gentleman Jack Gallagher in an incredible matchup that ended in a count out victory for Gable. Gallagher was interviewed backstage and was disappointed in failing to break the ten count. He also said that he and Gable have unfinished business. Before he could continue, Mike & Maria Kanellis interrupted him.
Mike Kanellis called Gallagher and Drake Maverick embarrassments to the 205 Live brand. He said that, if they do in fact stay here in the land of the cruiserweights, he's done being looked over. Gallagher then challenged him to a match next week, claiming it would be an opportunity for him to get a black eye in front of his wife.
