Jake Atlas vs Jack Gallagher in the 205 Live main event
The Gentleman seemed to have a hard time getting a hand on NXT and 205 Live's newest cruiserweight. Jake Atlas' unique offense kept Gallagher on his toes, as Atlas was able to avoid all of Gallagher's strikes will sending him around the ring with springboard arm drags.
Gallagher countered a lifting reverse DDT with a release suplex onto the ropes, hanging Atlas up on his stomach. Gallagher continued to batter Atlas with stiff elbows and boots to the back of the neck. Atlas struggled to fight out of the corner, as Gallagher demanded Atlas hit him as hard as he could.
Atlas obliged and was immediately taken down with a leaping headbutt. Gallagher set up for an armbar, but Atlas turned it into a pinfall for the two-count. Atlas rocked Gallagher with a few shots, but he was caught coming off the ropes with an abdominal stretch, continuing to put pressure on the back.
Atlas escaped, dropping Gallagher with a high-angle belly-to-back suplex. Atlas followed up with a vicious neckbreaker to the head, which left Gallagher dazed. Still, he managed to catch Atlas in the guillotine, adding in the body scissors.
