Isaiah "Swerve" Scott has been an odd third-wheel in the 205 Live feud between Tony Nese and Jack Gallagher. Maybe that's the wrong word for it... it's kind of hard to explain. Swerve was the catalyst for everything that's gone wrong between the two and has been attacked by both men while facing the other in singles action. Still, it's all been about the Premier Athlete and the former Gentleman.
Tonight was no different. Swerve's confidence is back, and 205 Live is his house.

205 Live Main Event: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs Jack Gallagher
Isaiah "Swerve" Scott looked to best Jack Gallagher at his own game, bringing him down with a modified arm triangle. Gallagher escaped and set up the rear mount, laying into Swerve with shots to the head.
Scott dropped Gallagher with a headscissor takedown before connecting with the diving back elbow to Gallagher's neck. Scott moved up for another dive, but Gallagher rolled to the apron. Gallagher caught Scott chasing him in the ropes, battering him with more stiff shots.
The two rivals traded roundhouse kicks before Gallagher decided to block for a series of uppercuts. Scott tripped up Gallagher and landed the House Call. However, Gallagher rolled to the floor to avoid the loss.
Scott moved to the apron and hit a running boot off the apron. Back inside the slingshot rolling flatliner connected. Gallagher kicked out. As Swerve brought him up, Gallagher trapped him in the guillotine, with some body scissors for good measure.
Swerve countered with a brainbuster, spiking Gallagher and breaking the hold. As Scott ran into the corner, Gallagher nearly knocked him out with the back elbow. Scott recovered just as Gallagher moved to the top. A sky-high back suplex was countered into a crossbody, with Gallagher shifting his weight in mid-air. Scott managed to barely kick out.
Another stiff shot to the jaw left Swerve looking up at the lights, but he refused to give up. Gallagher brought him up for some knee strikes before rolling Swerve over for the cross armbreaker.
However, Scott was able to roll him up at the last second, picking up a narrow victory.
Results: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Jack Gallagher via pinfall on 205 Live.

After the match, Tony Nese ran in and sent Scott shoulder first into the steels steps. Gallagher stared off, confused, considering his relationship with the Premier Athlete.
We were treated to a replay of the NXT Cruiserweight Championship Finals from NXT this week. Former 205 Live GM Drake Maverick nearly accomplished his dream, but would ultimately fall to El Hijo del Fantasma.
Still, after the match, Maverick was offered an NXT contract.
