The Brian Kendrick quickly took control of the match, with he and Tozawa showing off some great tag team offense. A double arm drag followed by the running senton splash from Tozawa almost took his opponent out for good. Tozawa connected with his striking combination, then tagged in Kendrick for a double big boot.
Kendrick tagged back to Tozawa, which led to his opponent finally getting the tag into his partner. It didn't work out well, as Tozawa took him out with a shining wizard. Tozawa tagged Kendrick in, connecting with a flatliner-roundhouse kick combination.
A missile dropkick from Tozawa almost led to victory. Kendrick connected with the Sliced Bread No. 2 followed up by a Senton Splash from Tozawa for the victory.

Tozawa struggled to get his tag team partner to do his chant, and The Brian Kendrick finally got into it. The two finally seem to be on the same page and will be ready for a match with Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher in the near future.
Backstage, Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese berated Dasha Fuentes for asking them about the tag match next week.
She called the match the match one of the biggest main events in the show's history, leading Murphy to ask if the roster is finally getting the tag team titles they've heard so much about.
