Gran Metalik vs TJP
Gran Metalik looked to get some revenge this week after TJP stole his mask. Maria Kanellis introduced TJP and Mike Kanellis, who were wearing the masks of Lucha House Party as trophies.
Lucha House Party ran up the ramp to get their masks back, almost leading to a brawl. Drake Maverick, however, led a posse of referees out to break it up, finishing up by sending Mike and Maria Kanellis and the rest of Lucha House Party to the back.
Gran Metalik began the match on fire, sending TJP out and connecting with a dive over the ropes. TJP was sent back in where he was met with a springboard body splash from the King of the Ropes.
Metalik sent TJP down with a reverse slingblade facebuster, but TJP recovered, countering a springboard maneuver into a Scorpion Deathlock.
Metalik rolled outside after the hold was broken, and TJP dove after him. The CruiserGreat then brought Metalik back inside and repeatedly struck him with a bevy of fists. TJP attempted to take the breath out of Metalik, connecting with a Tope Atomico. Metalik kicked out at two.
TJP hit the suplex-back suplex combo, but Metalik kicked out once again. Metalik turned a powerbomb into an arm drag and followed up with a springboard arm drag. TJP caught Metalik, though, dropping him into a modified inverted atomic drop. The former Champion sent Metalik down to the mat, then locked Metalik into one of his many holds.
TJP's submission prowess allowed him to keep Metalik completely grounded at this point in the match, targetting the legs of his opponent.
TJP went up top but Metalik caught him with an enziguri. Metalik went for a superplex, but TJP countered, trying to drop Metalik. Instead, the luchador landed on his feet, connecting with a running dropkick.
Metalik went for a moonsault, but the feet of TJP caught him on his jaw, following up with a sit out powerbomb. Metalik kicked out at two.
TJP went for the senton bomb. Nobody was home, as Metalik avoided the attack. Metalik was back on the offensive, but TJP's targetting of his mask forced him to protect himself, allowing TJP to connect with a springboard triangle dropkick to the apron.
TJP decided to get some rest and do a little bragging, which gave Metalik enough time to fly over the ropes, sending TJP down to the ground with a hurricanrana. Metalik connected with the spinning Michinoku Driver but decided to go for the springboard elbow drop instead of the pin, allowing TJP to counter. TJP locked in the TJ Clutch. Metalik crawled to the ropes, breaking the hold.
Metalik would eventually defeat TJP with a roll-up, getting some much-needed redemption for himself and the rest of Lucha House Party.
Results: Gran Metalik defeated TJP via pinfall.
Maria Kanellis came out to distract LHP and Drake Maverick, allowing Mike Kanellis to take them out from behind with a chair. TJP locked Metalik in the TJ Clutch again while Mike Kanellis pelted him with chair shots.
TJP may have lost the match, but he and the Kanellis's won the battle tonight.
