3.Sensational Sherri
Most women in the WWE start as managers and then move on to becoming singles’ performer. There have been many women who’ve been managers to male wrestlers, but none can be compared to how sensational Sherri Martel was in her role. She was the ultimate heel magnet. That heat from the audience is one of the major reasons why Macho Man and Shawn Michaels got over as heels.
But mostly what was even more sensational was the fact that she was a great wrestler as well. After all, she was trained by Fabulous Moolah. She wasn’t just the one with the right reactions, she wasn’t afraid to jump in the ring and attack her male counterparts.

That appearance, the face paint- she was always experimental with her looks and all those reasons combine to make her one of the greatest performers in WWE history.
2.Lita
There has been no woman, absolutely noone, who was as popular and as hated as a babyface and heel respectively as Lita was. When Lita began doing the moonsaults and hurricanranas, she made a unique place for herself in the company since the WWE audience wasn’t used to seeing women wrestlers performing those moves. She then teamed up with the Hardy Boyz and her popularity soared even more. What was also unique about her was her look. She was tattooed and her dyed red hair added to her cool yet fiery presence.
When WWE decided to turn the real life affair between Lita and Edge into a storyline and brought Matt Hardy into the dynamic, what followed resulted into this being the feud of the year and Lita becoming one of the most hated wrestlers on the planet. Not even a single cheer could be heard during her performances and even her last match was devoid of any heartwarming emotion related to the trailblazing career she had.
1.Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon is one of the most memorable characters WWE has ever seen. She’s not just a memorable character, she’s just plain impeccable at playing her character. The now evil, capitalistic, cut-throat boss used to be a spoilt, little brat of a daughter to an even more evil, capitalistic, cut-throat man during the Attitude Era.
That nasty grin, the snarky remarks and that thumping slap will stand the test of time in the WWE lore.
Despite always being either a daughter, wife or sister, Stephanie McMahon holds her own without her family even being around her. She’s phenomenal at playing her character. I mean, she made people cheer for Vickie Guerrero. That is no mean feat.
