#4. The WWE Universe needs to see John Cena vs. Randy Orton one last time
The Leader of the Cenation and the Viper were two of the biggest stars in WWE's PG-Era. John Cena and Randy Orton carried the franchise on their shoulders after the departures of Steve Austin and The Rock. Cena and Orton were polarizing figures, but they held unique places in fans' hearts.
The Apex Predator and The Champ's storied rivalry defined WWE programming between 2007 and 2015. The two veterans fought in all sorts of battles, from "I Quit" matches to Hell in a Cell matches. Some fans grew sick of them, but it was impossible to deny the incredible chemistry Orton and Cena had.
When Orton won the 2017 Royal Rumble match, John Cena was WWE Champion. Although Cena lost the title two weeks later, the Legend Killer wanted to face his greatest rival at WrestleMania. The fourteen-time WWE World Champion also believed that fans wanted the same. Orton may have been right.
While both WWE legends may be past their prime, one final battle between Orton and Cena would be best for business. From an in-ring perspective, it would deliver. Plus, the star power these two rivals have could sell-out a stadium any day.
The dilemma is Cena's part-time schedule, which allows him to work only a few dates. Moreover, Cena probably doesn't have many more matches left. Therefore, it may be better to use the sixteen-time World Champion to elevate younger stars like Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee, and Roman Reigns.
A final match between Cena and Orton may not reap long-term benefits, but it would be a memorable affair and cap off one of the most memorable rivalries of the modern WWE era.
