Velveteen Dream is about to turn 24 years old in about week, but he is more than ready to make the transition from NXT to the main roster. He has a perfect grip on his character and is never afraid to try different things. The boldness and charisma that the Dream exudes would only endear him to Vince McMahon. Also, his in-ring skills are terrific, with a catalogue of stunning Takeover and TV matches to his name in the past two years.
Speaking of stunning matches, Velveteen Dream is set to defend his North American Championship in Toronto against Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong. Dream could very feasibly lose the title in this match and move on from Full Sail. He is one guy who would be tipped to succeed in the deep ends of the main roster, where so many NXT graduates have not. However, at his young age, time is on his side. He could spend another couple of years at NXT and still have over a decade of success on the main roster.
