This may be a long-shot, with the current issue going on between Matt Riddle and Killian Dain. But it isn't beyond WWE to abruptly call up an NXT act, mid-storyline. In fact, that has happened throughout the year. Riddle's social media activity has sparked the possibility of a fast-tracked debut for the Original Bro on the WWE main roster. His online feud with the old WCW guys is so bonkers and has made him a more prominent name, for sure.
Riddle will likely face Dain at some point in the next month, or possibly even at Takeover Wr Games, but that might be the end of him on the black and gold brand. He has had some strong words for Goldberg, which could possibly lead to a big match before 2019 is out. The former UFC fighter has also openly stated his desire to retire Brock Lesnar. With his tremendous shape and technique, that might not be a long shot. There is no reason why Matt Riddle could not be a star in WWE.
