The former GM of Raw could assume the role again. Regardless of the fact Kane is now appearing on Smackdown, don’t be surprised if he jumps to the red team and assumes the same role. A feud with Mick Foley might be worth something to all of us older fans who remember both superstars in their prime.

Kane doesn’t have a true place in WWE for now. As a veteran who holds a roster spot, he serves as a bridge between the past and the future. As of right now, he gets in the ring and competes and jobs most of the time to up and coming talent.

In the role of an executive, he serves a better purpose.
